On September 13, the 2026 Harbin International Marathon kicked off at Harbin Music Park. As a World Athletics Elite Label event and a top-tier A-class race organized by the Chinese Athletics Association, this year's Harbin Marathon brought together 30,000 runners to race along the scenic banks of the Songhua River, pursuing their passion and challenging themselves in the autumnal "Ice City." Li Pengtang, Chairman and General Manager of Harbin Big Bird Industrial Co., Ltd., led a team of company runners who enthusiastically participated in the event. With determination and perseverance, they pushed beyond physical limits and successfully completed the half marathon, embodying their love for running and corporate responsibility through action—vividly living up to the company’s slogan: “I clean, I see, I run my way, Beyond 2030.”
On the morning of the race, Harbin was shrouded in continuous drizzle, making the course slippery and humidity high—presenting significant challenges for participants. Undeterred by the adverse weather, the Big Bird Industrial team members remained spirited and fully prepared, joining the main wave of runners from the starting line at Music Park. Throughout the race, they encouraged one another, stayed supportive, adjusted their pace, and steadily advanced. After an intense effort, all Dapeng Industrial participants crossed the finish line successfully, each earning their own commemorative medal. Among them, Yang Xinquan and Sun Fangzhou stood out with impressive times of 01:39:27 and 02:03:35 respectively. The weighty medals are not only testaments to sweat and dedication but also badges of perseverance and personal breakthroughs.
